ThriftMyStyle.....Outfit post and wardrobe revamping

Hi everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend-it's nice that we are experiencing more milder weather as layering in upto half a dozen pieces is not totally necessary at the moment!
I thought I would do an outfit post featuring a couple of new additions to my wardrobe. I thrifted this black long line jacket/coat in December at my local Sue Ryder charity shop for £6.99 and I've been waiting for some milder weather to wear it. I've teamed it with a Primark skull scarf, River Island black skinny jeans and my new Caitlin black studded clutch/cross body bag from PrettyLittleThing.com:

I'm also wearing the Megan suedette boots they sent me-thanks so much!!

Silver studs are a great way to add something extra to an all black outfit

I spent this weekend doing a wardrobe revamp and there are quite a few things destined for the charity shop-mainly basics such as sweaters and tees that are too tight and not shapes or cuts that I want to wear anymore. I am fortunate that I have a good variety of jackets and jeans already and just need to top up with everyday blouses and sweaters as I see them.

I've linked up this outfit post to the lovely Patti's Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet Style

What items are lacking in your wardrobe this season, will you be needing to have a wardrobe rehaul?

You look fantastic sharon! I LOVE the frock coat style jacket - so chic and how you accessorised with the scarf and studs. That length of jacket is sooo hard for me to get because of my size.
Um, I'm not exactly lacking in anything for the next few years :-) BUT I do need to a couple pairs of low heel shoes. Yay they're beginning to make these again!

I love that coat! I don't think I have any gaps except maybe some flat smart black boots.

You have moved into a whole new arena of style, it seems to me. "Sophisticated" would be the word I'd apply to your look here - in the very BEST sense of the word. Wow!

I love the long line jacket - so chic! And the studded bag is fab! I need a wardrobe rehaul too but more to get rid of stuff - I really don't need anything new!

This is super cute, great outfit!! Oh I love the scarf!! I would like to find some new blouses at the thrift store for the spring. I have to buy horse corrals first though so I can't buy anything right now :( I am on a no spend...but a great time to plan what I might like for the warmer weather ;) ~Love Heather

Great news that you are having warmer than usual weather.

that coat is a great thrifting find! It's got lots of structure and the studded purse & shoes are a fun way to make it less serious!

Great jacket, and I always love skulls and studs! I don't know what I need really, I've never been good at filling gaps, I tend to buy a lot of dresses for 'occasions' and then not get round to wearing them much. Definitely need more jeans as I have just sold a load on ebay which are now too big.
