Saturday Evening on the South Bank

It has been lovely weather this weekend and last night hubby and I decided to have a drive to London and take a short walk and people watch along the South Bank from Tower Bridge. We stopped and pitched up on the grass by City Hall on the Thames with some drinks and nibbles, watching the world go by. We then had a stroll and came across the outdoor Art Exhibition, Rites of Life

It really is a stunning and free exhibition, which is worth stopping to look at:

I wore my 90s Jean Paul Gaultier body con tube dress which was originally a maxi but I cut it down for a more wearable and summery outfit.

I also wore my trusty leather biker jacket which I got from the Sue Ryder charity shop and is from Primark-its a favourite and goes with anything!!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and heres to more sunshine for all of us this coming week!!

That dress looks amazing cut to that length, it shows off your fantastic figure and looks so fresh and funky with that leather jacket over it.
The exhibition looks brilliant and totally up my street.

I love what you've done with that dress! Fab!

I can't wait for my summer hols, working at a school as I do; I always take in the south Bank to the max! It's fab!

I love the dress. I tend to find maxi's difficult to wear. This is a great way to get more wear out of a fab dress, it looks ideal for a summer evening. The jacket is a great find too!

Going to a free exhibition its always a plus and then finding an artist that you related to makes it such a wonderful experience.

That exhibition looks brilliant. I love finding wonderful free things to do.

The dress in increadible on you, I need to get round to shortening some of my more clingy maxis as I never wear them (no JPG mind!). That looks far more versatile. Gorgeous x

Loving the leather jacket. I once bought a brand new Topshop one from a charity shop for a tenner. Absolute bargain! Just purchased a beige number (although this time from Zara), they just go with absolutely anything and everything! xx
