Top Tips for Lovely Knits

Browsing the Times earlier, I came across this article, which gives some great tips for dressing up knitwear this Autumn.

I think this is the time all of us will be stocking up not only on scarves, hats, gloves and tights, but always some statement knits in the form of jumpers, cardigans, dresses, waistcoats (vests) and even leggings.

What knitwear are you investing in this winter?

Hi there-I did a lot of buying these past couple of months, so I'm pretty much stocked up with winter warmers now!

Definitely some socks ^^ And a few cadigans.. Today at Promod I saw a really amazing knit minidress/t-shirt.

Hi cate-the minidress sounds great-it could be worn over leggings, jeans or thick woolly tights!

Hi Ms. Rose,

You are now my brand new SHERO. I love BOTH of your blogs!!!! :O)

I just accidently found you through a response on one my fav make up blogs makeup by Ren. :O)

You are fab and beautiful and smart.

Any tips for someone wanting to get into vintage and not sure where to start. I'm a HUGE HUGE SATC fan (got all 6 seasons and both books). :O)

I'm a bit of what you might call a late bloomer and so I'm putting together my "style". I love old style pieces, etc. but not sure where to look or how to start or to know if what I'm looking at is worth it.

I live in LA at the moment. Though I've had the pleasure of visiting your city of a few occassions and it's one of my favorite cities' of all time. :O)

Again you are just amazing. I also took a look at your financial blog. All I can say is thank you. I'm at that point where I'm taking responsibility for my money. Right now I'm reading Suze Orman (I don't know if she's known in the UK) She's a huge financial organizer/planner here in the states. Baby steps. :O)

Hi tara-yes, I thought it was pretty good too!

Hi nic-yes, sooner rather than later, haha!!

Hi jess-hope you find some lovely ones!

Hi fashion herald-I agree, there are some real lovely ones out there, reasonably priced!

Hi t.r.-thanks for such an amazing comment!! I appreciate you taking time out to visit both blogs, feel free to comment anytime! I have heard of Suze Orman, but I will google her later for more info-thanks for the tip! Also, I love thrifting, see my sidebar for past thrifting posts to give you some inspiration!

Love the black tabard sweater!

I need to get a good sweater this winter. I like this one by Lucky Brand that has simple Japanese-style embroidery (trees and cranes) on it, but at the moment it costs $100, so I can't get it now. :o(
